I wish this study came out a few years ago... it will be interesting to see how this works! This is pretty exciting stuff! Thanks for sharing this Allison!

This coincides with an article I found earlier also which I posted on the TBPI board...I wonder if it would still work on newborns, as I think it needs to be done real soon after injury?

People can stay abreast of news in the BPI world through google alerts. Just go to google and set up alerts according to certain keywords, like brachial plexus, peripheral nerve, etc.
Just a good way to find articles about people in smaller newspapers

This sounds like it would have to be done practically immediately, since the "downstream" nerve will die off if not reconnected very quickly. But maybe they will be able to combine it with nerve transplants or transfers to long-since avulsed nerve roots?
It's definitely an exciting development!
