Looking to see if anyone is taking any vitamin supplements to ensure body is getting the right nutrients for optimum healing. B12 or others?

Thanks

Hi Brian,
I've been researching supplements for nerve regeneration since my son rec'd his injury. B12 has consistently come up as a major contributor for myelin sheath, but it must be in methylcobalamin form to be readily absorbed by the central nervous system - we use a sublinual (most B12s are in cyanocobalimin form which is not readily absorbed). B12 combined w/an antioxidant like alpha lipoic acid or Vit C & E, and essential fatty acids like Omega 3, Omega 6 or GLAs (we use a complete essential fatty acids which contains all 3). Lastly I recently found a supplement specifically designed for and called Myelin Sheath Support as well as one called Higher Mind which has many "good" things in it, but becuase of my son's young age, I want to read on them first. Many of these supplements can be purchased on line at:

I'd love to hear what others are doing as well.
Good luck and take care.
