Tendon Transfer Miami

My 4 yr old daughter has not had to have a surgery until now. Has anyone had Dr.Price perform their transfer surgery and if so what kind of out come did they get from it? Also what tendons did they move. Dr. Price is suggesting only moving the latissimus. She needs the surgery for external rotation and to be able to lift her arm highter.

Dr. Price did my daughters' surgery 5 years ago. She had 2 of her latissimus muscles transfered and she has amazing range now. She could lift her arm up to about 80 degrees prior to the surgery. Now she can get her hand behind her head to do her hair and her arm comes out of the water when she swims. Good luck! We were very glad we did the surgery.

Thanks for your answer. I like Dr.Price alot but we are going to get a second opinion for Dr.Kozin next week before we make the decision on what to do. Also you mention she had 80 degrees prior to the surgery do you know what range she had following? My daughter currently has had no surgery and is at 90 degrees.
