Hey,

Just wanting to see how many people in Utah have this sort of injury. I'm 25 and have had a brachial plexus injury in my right arm since birth. In just the last couple of months of realized there are other people out there. Any doctor or chiropractor I've been to throughout my life has told me they've never seen anything like it... and certainly had no idea how to correct it. I'm now considering mod quad surgery with Dr. Nath. There's a whole lot to deal with first though...with insurance, etc.

Hi Staci,

I'm not in Utah, but I am your neighbor in Idaho. I am new to this whole concept that I am not the only one with this kind of injury! I'd be very interested to know how your trek goes. I've never even been told by a doctor that there was an alternative or treatment for this. Everyone has always told me that I lost any ability to help my injury after I turned 18, because we stop growing at that age. I am hopeful that you are getting somewhere, and you are very nearby to me. Utah is not too far for me to drive, if necesary! LOL

Good Luck!
Shelly

Staci, you can put me down as someone from Utah with a brachial plexus injury -- mine is my left shoulder from a surgical mishap in 1997 when I was 32.
