What's the name of this surgery??

It's the surgery that you have when your clavical is growing and they have to "shave it down"? Also, does anyone have experience with that? Thanks!

It is called acromioplasty. The bone is the acromion process. My daughter had that surgery and she had great success from it. She gained a lot of range.

The acromium is the small 'hooked' bone on the scapula. The clavicle is also known as the collar bone. Both bones or just one or the other can overgrow to the point of needing to be 'shaved down'. My daughter's surgery involved both, but that's not the case for everyone.
