Great News From Specialist

Post by DEAN »

Hi everyone,i havent posted for a while been busy, sorry. Ive just got back from the specialist{long trip} and got some graet results from the emg tests. Biceps and deltoid still arent showing anything as yet but i nearly kissed the bloke {and im a bloke aswell} when we found out that my suprspinatas is active and a slight little bit in the inphraspinatas. That means that from my 1st operation back in early March the nerve has regenerated through the small graft of 5cms.It has brought the biggst bloody smile to my face and i just wanted to shre the news with everyone. I still have a 15cm graft to go as yet but at least i know that having the operation was not a waste of time. Wow its a load of my mind its a dream starting to come true. thanks for this sight and goodluck to you all. Go the Aussies.

Dean, congratulations! It is such a frustratingly slow process, and takes such discipline to do the PT even when it's not evident for awhile any of it is working. Keep up the hard work!

Do you know the distance the nerves need to grow to get to the other muscles?
