I am so happy for you!
I did not believe that the steroids would work so well.
Maybe I will get them in my lower spine after reading your report. Your my hero I was afraid of them.

I love your website and journal.
I was so happy to meet you at camp.
I was looking forward to it and your are as nice as all your posts... OK...
I know most people don't like to be called sweet but you are a sweetie.

Kath (adult/obpi 65)

Here is a link to Amy's page for those who are not up yet on their computer skills ( the older folks like me)

Thanks you so much Kath! I really looked forward to meeting you at camp and I am so glad that I did. You guys are my inspiration, thank you.

To tell the truth, I was scared of the steroid too, just because I am going into a health feild and that does not look good, but I am so happy that I tried it. It is absolutely amazing, instant relief that is lasting. Depending on where you get the injection they use a navacain like med to numb it up so I hardly felt it at all. Much happier person now that I am pain free! Now just to get the concentration part down and I am set. Speaking of that I gotta go work on a paper I have due on Thursday. and then study for chemistry, test on Wednesday. Yikes.

ps you can call me sweet any day. lol I dont mind and it better than being sour. lol

Hi Amy...I think you are a Sweetie too,
I am so glad for your update and I surely believe that you are a role model of courage for trying the steriod injection for your pain 1st, rather than going straight to the surgery choice. I hope you do well in chemistry this week, let us know OK?

I loved talking to you too and I look forward to Wa. Camp 2007 and hopefully I won't have to have as many naps as I did this time,so I can visit more with y'all. I especially want to keep up with your studies and your BPI journey. Yes, we CAN achieve anything we set our minds too.

BTW, is your Doctor planning on continuing to follow you for his BPI research after you leave Shriner's at age 21?
Hugs,

Thank Carolyn,
You are sweet too. Thanks for having most of your meals with me, I enjoyed your company.

I am starting to save now, and I will do what ever it takes to get to camp in 2007, I just cant wait to see every one again.

I am actually emailing my doctor to see if he sees adults at his other practice, he currently works at Shriners hospital in minneapolis/ st paul minnesota however his main practice is at Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN. So I emailed him to see what his age range is. I really hope he continues to follow me, he is really great.

Hugs,

Take care! Can't wait to see you again in 2007!
