I don't know of anyone who has ever had a bpi caused specifically by a mammogram, but there is an organisation in the U.K. who provide information and support for people who have damage to the bpi caused by radiotherapy following breast cancer. This is the link to their home page;

...somewhere to start looking for info at least..hope this helps....

Dianna,
Your story is very scary for me... I am going for a mammogram soon. Would you mind giving some details if you know how it happened? I'm trying to think about what they did to cause this -so that I know when to scream at them before this happens to me. Was it how they positioned your arm - in a strained position?

I'm really sorry you experienced this and even more sorry that you are still in pain. Have you been to brachial plexus specialists?
Hope somebody can do something to help you out and that your pain subsides!
