the design of the controller for the upcoming nintendo "revolution" system is totally geared for one-handed play. check it out http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/150969 ... lines=true
i think video game distraction works better for our pain than... neurontin, oxycontin, percocets, elavil, grass, accupuncture, stellate ganglion blocks, hypnotherapy, mustard seeds placed in ears, TENS units, massage.. well, you get the idea.

I purchased a one-handed controller for my son Chase (age 7,LTBPI)for PS2 when he was first injured in March. It came from Japan and by the time it came in, he'd mastered the regular controller and he's amazingly good with one hand. He prefers the two-handed controller to the one-handed special after all that. That Nintendo controller looks pretty cool though!
