Did anyone see the CBS news health report on the evening news September 14th? The piece was on a 54 year old double arm amputee who was fitted with two "bionic" arms. Incredible stuff!Though it won't do us any good at present, the technology is advancing--big time.
You might be able to find the video piece in the CBS news archive, and I've included the link to the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute where the work was done. Friggin incredible!

I did see the piece, and also read the other day of robotics research that has developed fingers that have variable pressure, as well as temperature sensations.
