Michaela is doing GREAT! Wed. she'll be 3 weeks post op. The steri-strips are starting to come off and the incision looks like it has healed nicely.No infection.

I just picked her up from school and got a good laugh. She picked up saying God and Jesus all the time from somewhere and we told her that it is not right to take the Lord's name in vain, meaning only to use it when you need to, as in prayer or such, not just because it's something to say. We explained it was one of God's 10 Rules. She could say Gee,Whiz or something like that. Well we're riding home and she says,"You know what? Ally said Jesus while we were outside today and I told her it's not allowed because it takes Jesus's name out of his veins." Do you know how hard it was for me to not bust out laughing!!!! that is TOO funny!!

We finally got her in the bathtub tonight standing up with Roger holding her arm and using the hand held shower to spray her down. It was so much quicker and easier. All the steri-strips came off the pectoral incision and it's all healed. Looking good!
