Awesome visit in NJ with Dr. Nath

Post by christi »

Yesterday was our 3rd time seeing Dr. Nath in NJ and the first time I left there all smiles instead of tears, we usually leave knowing our daughter is going to have to have surgery. Our 3 year old just had the triangle tilt surgery at the end of June (she was 21/2 at the time) and has been out of the splint since 8/11 - still wearing it at night though. Dr. Nath was extremely happy with the results as are we. To see your child who was so internally rotated actually put her hand out palm up is so amazing. She still has to wear the splint at night until November. As we were leaving we were told that we can fase out therapy if we so choose. How fantastic! We are just so positive about the TT surgery and are so thankful for Dr. Nath and his skill as a doctor. Thanks to Cindy for making the NJ appointments possible! Just wanted to share our happy day! Thanks for listening.

Christi
congratulations!!!!
we too were at Dr Nath's on Wednesday and he told us the same thing with the therapy. James had the TT in March so he has been out of the splint now fully since June 16, but he looks awesome. Dr Nath said that he may need some of the bone shaved that is slightly protruding from the shoulder, but that if we never did it, it would not hinder any further growth, developing or functioning.
We too are so happy with the results of the TT and are so glad to know that Dr Nath is there for us!
His work is amazing and the results are even more amazing!
Thanks to Cindy as well for putting all this together and making it possible for parents here on the East coast to be able to see Dr Nath as locally as possible!
