teacher grabs bpi arm

Post by admin »

Here it is the second day of kindengarden and the teacher grabs both her arms. I don't get it. I had a meeting with the teacher, teacher's aid, and principal. The teacher has a history at the school for grabbing or touching the kids. She grabbed one kid by the face two years ago. So I was sure to talk with her I printed off the letter for school and gave it to all of them. Does it do any good NO. I have spoke to the principal and ask that Sierra gets moved out of her class. She cant because the other classrooms are full. What to do, What to do. It's not over yet.

If you have a lawyer ask him to send a letter. That should get her moved to the other class. Sometimes threats are the only things that work

Ok, neither of mine have started school yet. But what is she doing grabbing any kids? And what is she doing still working there with a history of it? Does she grab them out of anger or is it a terrible habit that she has. I have already decided that when Javier starts daycare this fall, that I will politely and thouroughly explain his injury and politely and thouroughly threaten to paralyze anyone's arm who hurts my baby further.;) He has been through enough. I hope this problem gets fixed for you and your child. Good luck on the new school year.

Go straight to the Superintendent of your school system. Most importantly you should file charges of assualt against the teacher with your local police department.

When my oldest was in preschool a teacher threw him against a wall.....I know my son's no angel but this is not cool so I went to the director andshe said that they have never had any other complaints about this teacher....after I filed police charges......we founf out she used to be a school bus driver and was abusing kids there too.....my son wasn't the only one, just the only one that would tell his mommy...BTW his is not OBPI.....if that was my son with OBPI we'd be fighting !!!!!

If after everything else, go to a school board meeting and complain. If this is happening to your child, it has to be happening to others, go to a PTA meeting and ask if anyone else has complain. Just get the word out that no teacher or anyone should be doing this.

The more you are involved the more they listen.

A school cannot refuse a parents request to take a child out of a class especially in this instant. You need to speak to the district administrators and let them know what has taken place and that if they dont remove your child from that class, then you are going to the state ed dept. The principal is very capable of taking one student and transferring them into another class, they just dont like to set a precedent.
If you dont get any satisfaction, do get your lawyer to write a letter and that will also make them move their feet.
Good luck and keep us posted

I would talk to that principle so fast that the teacher would not know what hit her. This behavior that you have described is ABSOLUTELY uncalled for in any grade but especially kindergarten. It does not matter that the other classrooms are "full". Your child will not feel safe in that environment and that is detrimental to her success as a student; not only this year, but in all the years to come. I would take this as high up as you can. GO to the superintendant. This behavior from an educator is appalling.
