Hello Everyone...My name is Whitney and I am a 19 year old female and I have erbs palsy of the left arm. I received the injury at birth, and I have been doing a lot of research online lately. I haven't received any sort of physical therapy or treatment since a very young age, mostly by my own choice. But now that I older I have decided that my injury has of course affected me in alot of ways, and I am just here for support. I have never met or spoken to anyone with Erbs Palsy or a BPI so I thought it would be interesting to get in contact with you guys.....I just thought that I should introduce myself before I just started posting...Thanks a lot and I hope I have something interesting to add to the board. .

Welcome to the Boards. I am sure you are amazed to find out so many people have the same injury. I know I was and I found UBPN almost 6 years ago. Before I found UBPN I thought I was the only one with a rare birth injury... now I know it's not rare and there are tons of folks just like me to share information and support with.

I'm sure you will get a lot of help and advice from the message boards. I discovered it in January, and now check it almost daily. It's wonderful to know that there are others dealing with this injury, and they are willing to offer their experiences and suggestions.
