Dr. Price?

Post by dpoganik »

Hi all, it's been quite a while since I last posted. Danielle (5 yrs ROBPI) is going to see Dr. Price in Manhattan next week for an independant medical review. Has anyone seen Dr. Price before? Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dawn

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Hi Dawn
I am sure there are people who post that use Dr.Price.
I remember reading a number of posts a while back.
Good luck with your visit.
I met Dr.Price in Brescia Italy at the Narakas Medical Symposium and we spoke briefly. He seemed very nice.
In fact I was impressed with many of the bpi specialists who presented papers at the Symposium.
They are so dedicated to making life better and working toward improving the functions of our arms and shoulders.

I live in NY do you?

Dr. Price was our second opinion for Dr. Kozin's surgical recommendation for our son. He looked at the MRI scans and I spoke with him on the phone. He seemed very nice and knowledgeable.

I saw him speak at a symposium and he was very dynamic. He has a great grasp of the anatomy and how to handle the surgery. I was impressed. If I lived closer, I would use him for a second opinion, but I am in the west and have used Dr. Shenaq for years and get second opinions in CA

Dr Price is a GREAT guy. He is very knowledgeable and was great with our daughter. She enjoyed meeting him in NJ and when he came down to Virginia Beach. He helped us realize that she needed a surgery and put us in touch with another great doctor. I would recommend him anytime...he was also an expert witness at our trial.
