Is your pain funny?

This is the first time I've seen an apt description of pain as humorous. Bluntly sad and funny at the same time.

Makes me want to take up writing again... and laughing

Well Christopher, I noticed another post you have on here. I was going to suggest that you write. or sell your work to a comedian, because you're too funny. Very witty humor. Laughter is of course the best medicine.

Awesome description of the central pain Christopher, this guy describes my arm pain EXACTLY. Liked the part where he realises the pain doesn't happen when he's driving (and neither does mine) obviously the activity as distraction thing is a lot harder in a wheelchair but it works-sufferers take note!
I truly believe laughing at this (and other disaster for that matter) is a very healthy and healing thing, I've been doing it from the word go. Thanks for posting this, I am familiar with the CentralPain site but hadn't seen this profile.
Cheers all

Hi Christopher,
I am Mark-log in as Orion- I just read your article. My take on the pain thing is that I can laugh at the clever "meter" of the story; but as I read it all I can see is the tortured look on your face that other people don't understand. All I can say is that you are one tough cookie and I will pray tonight that ALL the demons take the night off and you can get some sleep. Thanks for working hard to pick us all up. May God ease your suffering. Mark
