Any One Have Tilted Neck...Please Give Insight

Due to my severe injury an left side not working and all the vertebres being chip off in accident. Any ways neck leans to opposite side, causes horrible pain, been wearing a neck brace for over a yr. A TB doctor told me the only way he could fix it is by fuseing it. Does anyone have this (known someone, or had) problem? Has anyone fix it or seen improvements? Does anyone have any ideas? Last of all anyone know of someone with a fuse neck, how does it look? noticeable to a person looking? can you turn at all? Is this my only option? Also any Dr suggestions to see.
