Hi all, I know that nerves only regenerate at 1mm per day and i still have about a year until any movement[hopefully]in deltoid and shoulder. The question is 5 weeks ago i had a second operation just for the elbow movement. It was a nerve transfer to a second muscular branch, they rerooted the nerve that works my fingers and hand to the damaged nerve. Because it wasnt an actual nerve graft will i get movement in my elbow or bisep quicker. Neurosurgeon said hopefully 3 months which would be great but maybe someone has had this done and could shed some light on this procedure to me.
Thaks all and good luck
