rubber bracelets

Post by marieke »

I got mine today and I love them! I ordered both child size and adult (since my wrist is small) and have already given some out to my parents and friends at work. Others saw them and want some too, so I will ordering more!

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I like the child size too!
My daughter took the a child size one and it fits her perfectly... I given away 10 already.
My grandchildren said all their friends want to know where to get them... and what is a brachial plexus...

Do you all think that boys (about 6 years old) would wear the bracelets? I'm sure it would depend on the specific child, but in general?

I think so; a lot of my daughter's friends want a bracelet--boys and girls (ages 5 -11).

My grandson is 7 and his friends told him he had a "cool" one. Now I never see the yellow on on him just the UBPN/bpi one.

I can't log in a me on this computer but I wanted to let you know that the 13-18 years olds are wearing them at school. Not sure about the younger kids as I do not see many of them.
