Its really hard to say how the injury will heal because all injuries are different! i had my first op done with Dr. Wolff in Louisville, KY. You can however check the medical resources directory here and see what is there also. http://ubpn.org/medicalresources/us-bpi.html
Best of luck to you! Please feel free to ask any questions that you have along the way!!

Re: Looking for help in Nashville, TN
I would advise you to see a BPI doctor as ap, they really know best! Neuro surgeons arent always the best route to go, with my experience. They know about the plexus as it is a bundle of nerves but as they dont work with it 100% of the time, they are not always the best candidate for it! This is just my experience. A BPI doc works with it all the time......
I have had my injury 4 years now... I have 2 root avulsion, 2 ruptures. and 1 stretched. I have had 2 surgeries. Genreally speaking the worse the injury the more likely surgery is offered, but then again it all depends.
You should see a BPI doc as ap to see what your options are!

Re: Looking for help in Nashville, TN
My son is TBPI. After his accident, his neurosurgeon consulted with other Drs. in Memphis and they couldnt help him. Im not sure of the Drs. name though. Im thinking they might have been at Vanderbilt? We were basically on our own to find a Dr. for him. But, we did find one here through UBPN. Let us know how you get on...
