well, i just had surgery to help my c5 & c6 injury with dr. nath. he cut me in bicep, my neck and my armpit to attach the injured nerves to healthy nerves since i still had my hand. this nerve transfer, not a nerve graph, should help get me 80% of my bicep back. and if im lucky, i will be able to raise my arm 90 degrees to my body but probably not over my head. is this making sense, i hope so. i am taking it easy for 3 weeks before i get back to therapy. my hand hurts a bit. the hypersensativity is back and should go away after a few weeks, but im hoping for the best. iwill keep u guys, my new family, updated. my computer is on the blink, so i am not ignoring u if i dont answer qustions right away. wish me luck.

Joshua,
Good luck with the recovery. Focus on good nutrition to help your nerves repair and heal. Give your body the best fighting chance. It will help with the pain too. Cheers...Karl...
