shoulder brace

I have a TBPI, Nov. 03, and my shoulder is subluxed. My arm is hanging down a lot while I am at work and was wondering if there is a brace out there to help hold the shoulder in place.

Guest, why did you bump this up?? Also for the previous guest, that shoulder brace is probably NOT GOOD for BPI as it says "keeps it warm and loose" We are looking for stabalization not loose. It also says "Not to be used for dislocations." Subluxation is similar to dislocation.

Here we go with guest posts again.
I know you guys allow these in the General Board for reasons of litigation etc, but I cannot see any reason why they should be allowed on here?
Totally anonymous guest posts on here can be very misleading and could also provide completely wrong information...as you have seen Court. Is there any way that they can be banned on here? I'm not talking about the honest 'fogot to login' posters, but the completely anon ones...
Anyway, to answer the original posters question, a very good tried and tested brace designed for subluxation is the Wilmer Brace. This has been used in Europe and the UK for quite a number of years now, and I believe it is available in the U.S.
