Send a Message to a TCH Patient

Guess what?! I was at the TCH website today and saw a new service they offer. You can type a message to send to a patient at TCH. You create the message at their website and then submit it. The message gets emailed to TCH and a volunteer delivers the message to the patient's room and it's printed on a card (there are 3 cards to choose from). There's not even a charge for the service. I saw the link to it directly from the home page, but I'll post the direct link here since the home page likely changes frequently. Is this cool or what?! I'm so excited!!

Tina,
That's really a great idea! Thanks, for posting the info. I am not on much at all anymore but, I remembered that Kyle was having his surgery today so, I will send him a card.RoseAnne
Ps. I sent you an email in the brachial group about Nicoles recovery but, never got a response back from you! Hope things are going well for her.

We used this service last week while there for Michaela's Mod Quad. She recieved so many e-mails. It gave her something to look forward to everyday. It's a service through the volunteers, so they print out the e-mail cards and deliver them to the rooms. I sent the website address out to all our family and friends about a week before we went so they could plan to send one. Also since we're from Florida it gave them a chance to send her something to know she was thought of that was easy to carry home on the plane and I can put in her scrapbook. I couldn't see carrying home alot of toys or flowers! LeeAnne Browning
