Great info if you need it in the future. Michaela threw up after surgery several times. It got in her hair. The nurse at TCH gave me a Comfort shampoo cap made by the same people who make the Comfort bath cloths. It was fantastic. She gave me a couple extra and said I should be able to get them at a Medical supply store. They are a little expensive but work great. It's looks like a shower cap with a diaper like lining inside that has a shampoo and conditioner. You just heat in the microwave, put on head and then massage like you would aregular shampoo. So easy, no water, no drips and clean wet hair after. Amazing! Then just comb and style as usual. Usually this product is used for people with bad spinal cord injuries. LeeAnne

Very cool! They used what is called a dry shampoo on my hair while in the hospital. It is almost like lotion but it cleans the hair.

I am going to check into the shower cap for my husbands grandmother who has been in and out of the hospital lately.

Thanks for the info!
Joy
