Wonderful Christmas gift for winger!

Post by Nan in On »

I know that the holiday season has nearly come and gone, but I want to share with you a gift I received that is already giving me tremendous relief from my pain!
I have tried them all! Tens, massagers, ice packs, heat packs, memory foam, gels, MSM, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories etc. This Christmas, hubby gave me one of those heated, vibrating chair pads that are advertised for use on office chairs for relaxation and also have a car adaptor. I think I am in love...with this invention! Hubby is jealous...lol.
Seriously, all of my healthy relatives gave it a try and most found it to be simply annoying and not of much use. I, on the other hand got immediate temporary pain relief! I am wondering if, for me, this is working along the same principle as biofeedback in that the pulsations are distracting my brain from the pain signals and thus relieving my pain?
I am not a dealer of these chair pads, but simply wanted to share this terrific find with you all. This item was on sale for under $30 (small price to pay for much needed pain relief), is portable (I take it everywhere) and is not messy or smelly like some of the rubs I have tried. It costs nothing (but the hydro) to use and I don't have to drag myself to a massage therapist every other day.
Has anyone else tried this chair pad? I would love to know what you thought of it. I highly recommend for wingers to give it a try!
