Just thought I would give everyone an update. Recent LBPI injury first of September 2004. Should be getting in to see Dr. Klein sometime in January. Pain still an issue every day, guess it comes with the territory. It is my hand that bothers me the most. I am seeing some improvement though, when I am laying down or leaning back I am able to bend my elbow, it just will not work against gravity yet. Also I can flex my wrist though not fully yet and I can move my fingers but can not close my hand. Numbness is still a factor from the elbow down with my thumb being the most numb. At first I thought how it the world am I going to manage but that stage passed fairly quick fom me. I have learned that you just do what you have to do and stay positive. The one thing I really learned, is patience. By the way thanks to everyone who suggested the Ultimate Arm Sling, it feels sooo good. If anyone has any suggestions or questions I would appreciate any and all input. Everyone on this website has been so helpful and have truly educated me on BPI injuries. Wishing everyone a happy and blessed holiday season,
Annette
