Surgery

Well, I had a radial and laterel release on my good arm last week. I still have stitches but am recovering fast. The reason for the surgery was that I had loss strength in my good arm. I could barely carry anything and driving was difficult. I am not allowed to lift anything over 5lbs for a few weeks but I couldn't do that before either. Please pay attention out there and take care of your good arms. Don't over use!! It is a challenge for us to take care of personal needs(wiping) when the good arm is bandaged. But if there is a will there is a way. LOL

Judy,
It is good to hear from you. I'm glad you are up and about and able to type! Do what the doc says, and don't push it.
Hugs,
Nancy

Judy,

Glad to see you are up and going. Don't push to much.

Hope everyone read your post and is reminded that your good arm can't take a lot after awhile.

I need to remind Ryan this.

Take care,

Hugs, Karen

Yeah for you Judy! It seems you are making a good recovery.

Now will you listen to us older ones and take good care of the "unaffected" arm.

I am so glad things went well for you during this surgery and soon you will be weight lifting... LOL... well at least 6 lbs.
