Ken Levine and Kaiser Hosp lawsuits

We are persuing a lawsuit against a Northern California Kaiser Hospital. We understand that Kaiser does not allow for a trial, but rather arbitration. Does anyone have any advise for us? Anyone else gone to arbitration? What should we expect? How was Ken Levine to work with? We met him at the Chicago picnic and he seemed very versed in the area of Erb's palsy. Please...any advise or info would be appreciated. Sue

Hi Sue,
I noticed your post especially since you mentioned Kaiser. My daughter was also born at Kaiser in So. California and we had a great attorney here who settled our case for us. He is very familiar with Kaiser and their policies and has also settled for a few other families I know of with Kaiser. Kaiser is very hard to deal with and I do recommend that you choose an attorney familiar with them.
His name is Carl McMahan and his phone number is (310) 472-8078.
I do not know anything about Ken Levine so I cannot help you there.
Good Luck!

Don't know anything about that hospital - but I do know Ken. He is our attorney - and we are VERY pleased with him. He is very knowledgable about the injury - and he certainly doesn't back down from opposition. During our deposition our doctor's Attorney got pretty rude with him - and he didn't hesitate to put him in his place. Our trial is scheduled for July - and mediation in April - so I don't know exactly how everything is going - but it seems to be going well - and Ken is very confident! He's a great Attorney!
