How long does it normaly take to bend the elbow?

Without having to make a fist and bending the wrist? This is after an oberlin procedure.
I'm sorry for the multiple topics. Today was one of those days where it really sucked having tbpi. My mind still feels like this is just a temporary problem, and that in a year I'll be almost back to normal. If things work out the way they are supposed to, I should have a very useful arm. It probably won't happen though.
