Do you have any info on good BPI surgeons in North East?

My husband is a police officer shot in the line of duty on New Year's Eve. Bullet entered through his back & exited through the front under the clavicle. EMG/NCV results indicate brachial plexus nerve injury. He has no movement or response from his shoulder down to upper forearm...some movement in fingers & wrist. We've seen a local neurologist in NJ who admits to not being able to handle my husband's injury. The primary care doctor on the case doesn't seem to have much resource in terms of a specialist/surgeon who deals with this type of injury. Does anyone have any suggestions in terms of doctors or facilities in the North East that we can look into? We're lost right now & looking for some advice & help. In doing some internet research I found this site...one of the few that look at adult traumatic BPI. We're hoping someone may have some advice for us. Thanks. Lisa
