Joshua is running a high fever (102.3) and he is really complaining about his arm hurting. He is holding it close to his body and just crying. I don't know what to do. I am alternating tylenol and ibuprofen every 3 hours, which is helping with the fever, but not with the discomfort in his arm. THis has never happened before - which makes me think he has better sensation, but also breaks my heart. Any suggestion for how to ease the pain?

no suggestions on how to help the pain for a kid, but i know a lot of the adults have this problem. a fever or anything tends to aggravate the nerves. if its any consolation it does pass like the fever...........anything which brings down the temperature helps a little with the pain.
