I'm Kathleen, married to Craig for 6 years. We live in Abingdon, MD, with our 3 children: Abby (4), Joshua (2 and LOBPI), and Caleb (1). I am a stay-at-home mom hoping to homeschool.
Joshua has had nerve graft surgery and muscle transfer surgery in his shoulder, both done at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is currently still improving since his shoulder surgery last January. We'll keep praying for more movement.

Hi, I'm Anne, married to Joe, mom to Bobby 7 and Ben 3 (rbpi). We live in Ohio, near Toledo. Ben has had 3 surgeries, the first two primary and ModQuad at Texas Children's and this last one a free muscle (gracilis) transfer at Cincinnati Children's. He had ok return after the first two, but unfortunately his bicep never re-innervated, so we had to go with the transfer, which I am so glad we did, he's already showing elbow movement and can (with help) get his hand behind his head, first time ever!

Hi...I'm Heather, mom to Clara 16 months (ROBPI), and wife to Rob. We have lived in Nagoya, Japan for the last year and will probably be here for another year. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband is an engineering software consultant. (Prior to this we lived in Dallas, TX.) Clara did not need primary surgery, but TCH did recommend Mod Quad. We are planning on having this done when we return to the States permanently, as we know the therapy following this surgery is too intense for me to do alone. Although we have made the "pilgrimage" to TCH 3 times in the past year, we are considering visiting the brachial plexus clinic in Osaka to see what they have to say.

Thank you to everyone for all the great information on these boards. I don't know what I would do without you all!
