I've been taking Topomax for about 4 months (50 mg 2x daily), for seizures. I have since experienced some pretty drastic mood swings, my poor family!! I have also been to the doctors due to increasing depression. I was prescribed Zoloft to help with the anxiety and depression, 25 mg for 1 week then I am supposed to increase to 50 mg a day. I began the 25 mg treatment 5 days ago, my mood is much better but now I fear it may conflict with my seizure disorder. Today I have felt very out of control, too much energy, heart fealt like it is beating out of my chest, still does, and I still can't sleep. I am going to speek to my physician about this but I was just wondering if anyone else was in a similar situation, noticing any side effects from Topomax/antidepressant combo.
