Here you go! How odd?!

Actually, redheads require *more* anesthesia and seem to be *more* sensitive to pain (probably related).

Hi, I'm new to this board, too. I just found out two years ago that where was a name for what's wrong with my left arm . Such great info here.
I'm 61 years old and living in N CA,
I'm amazed at the tiny issues like short arms, and fa.. (wait, I have to pull up my bra strap...) falling bra straps and the overuse syndromes with the "good" arm.
I'm feeling like I have carpal tunnel in my R wrist recently, and it's nice to have a reason for it.
When I think of having surgery on it, I resist cuz I can't figure out how I would wipe my butt !!!

Hi Judi ! Welcome to the boards. I recently had surgery on my good arm and that was what I feared the most "how was I going to wipe my butt". So, I had to laugh when I saw your post. I got thru it o.k. and had a clean butt! LOL

Welcome JudiB
I am glad you find out. I see you have that very well developed sense of humor that is given out right after we are injured... LOL.

It's amazing I was 60 when I found UBPN... and I always knew the name of my injury and how it happened. I could not find any information on it and was always told it was rare...

I don't have any trouble with the silicone. It's so comfortable that I forget it's there. Removal is easy. It doesn't stick THAT much. I just meant that it stays in place, so the bra strap doesn't fall down my shoulder.

Nancy and I found the store where I first bought these wonderful bra strap keeper-uppers. She bought a pair and I'm still waiting to hear how she likes them. I guess she's busy with camp stuff now.

After reading some of the posts on this topic I just have to ask if any of you have ever used a strip of snap tape to hold your bra straps up? You buy it at a fabrics store or WalMart in the fabrics section. It is the strip you would sew into the crotch of an infants pants for changing diapers. Sold by the yard. You snap one end to one strap & the other end you snap around the other strap. Make sure the tape is just the length of the distance between where your straps should be correctly positioned.

I've been using this method for several years! Works great for me. I hope this helps some of you.

You are too funny!
Perhaps it may be a good hand therapy.
