Topamax Side effects!!!

Just started Topamax after failing several other siezure meds. Been on Topamax for only 3 weeks now and soda taste like metal, Diet Mt. Dew (my favorite) tase terribly sour. In addition both knee's and left shoulder have begun to hurt along with swelling and bruising.
