WOW!!
looks like your hondas pulled strong but the trupet was a little under powered. how did yvon d get that beser to run so strong against those hondas?
i would say you had a couple of buisy days there in feb and march. did you just start in 99 campaigning the bmw and did you have a sponser? i still have the bug, if you can talk about racing i would like to hear.
thanks red

Re: ROLL CALL ( LURKERS TOO!!!!!!! )
Ya Dave it ran, the honda. That was just one weekend out of maybe 16 that year. The Tri was my all time favort, kept blowing gears like 2nd or 3rd. We could rebuild it in 45 minuts or less. Todd Henning built my honda. I still have that. No one want to pay me what it worth. To many cheap racers. That was my 1st year for the bemer. They gave it to me to race so i wrecked it for them. Ya Yvon likes thoses besers. I would only see him at the big tracks. Paul

Hey All - we're new. My son John, age 15, is a competitive bicyclist. He was hit by an SUV while on a training ride Nov '02, in Atlanta Ga. C5 & C6 affected & complete arm is flail at this point. We'd appreciate suggestions as to BP surgeons you'd recommend (so far we've heard about Kline/Tiel, Mayo Clinic, Boston College, Terzis). If you want to steer us away from someone, pls email me directly. Thanks!

Re: ROLL CALL ( LURKERS TOO!!!!!!! )
LBPI from horsebackriding, baled off the horse at a
full run and caught my left arm in a 4 inch gap in
the wall of the arena. Broke my humerous in half.
Was told I would never regain the use of my arm but
after 3 years I have full range of motion and 85% of
my strength back. I feel and pray for everybody
out there. Never knew there was a site for BPI.
Don't give up on therapy, I know the pain all too well
and accupuncture helped tremendously with the pain.

Hi Gena,
I would be very interested to know whether u had 1 surgery or more surgeries, and what part of the brachial plexus you damaged, and the type of injury u sustained eg. avulsion, neuroma etc. If u could provide that information that would be great. Thanks. The reason I'm very interested to know is that u obviously had very good recovery. Ciao.
