I just finished my last semester of the school year on friday. Summer school starts on July 7th, and I'm having my operation on the 6th. My principle and I agreed that I can take the classes if my teachers said it was okay that I could miss the first 3 days. They both agreed and even my Graphic Arts teacher knew a little about the brachial plexus injuries.

I just hope that I wont have to wear a shoulder immobilizer after the first 5 days: i'm more comfortable with a regular sling.

Karlos, when were you able to bend your elbow after the oberlin's procedure?

If you can, can you give me a little timeline of when you started noticing different things with your arm?

I'm very happy. My doctor said that it took me 4 months what normally takes 6 months for most people to get results from the oberlin's procedure. He also said that I will be able to bend my arm in around 3 months.
