Nicole~
My surgery was a success!! I can bend my arm @ my elbow and reach my mouth. I full use of hand so this made my life sooo much easier. I can tie my shoes, cut my food, do my hair....pretty much everything. Even without my C5,6 and 7. I had the attitude this injury was not going to ruin or control my life. I got married (10 yrs now) and had 3 children since my accident. I even waterskied and took an EMT class and passed and got my certification!! No one knows about my injury. I had 8 surgeries and like you I said "Enough!" I haven't had one in 9 years. Who knows if I will ever have another one.

Well i have moved from Denver to Albuquerque NM. So i have been off the board for a while.
Does anybody know of any studies in which this type of injury is needed?
