OK, here is the answer from Dr. Nath to the original question that I asked. Helps me with the question about repeating caps.

You ask an excellent question. Truly we do not have all the information
finalized on what should be the exact protocol for a given shoulder problem.
My personal feeling is that capsulodesis is reasonable to attempt multiple
times if there is some improvement each time. However, clearly there are some
kids who will not benefit from even one attampt at a capsulodesis. This is
really a matter of judgement and is difficult to state comprehensively. WE do
take one child at a time and individualize treatment accordingly.
