Okay now I really have a question... In the US are we required to adapt the vehicle and declare our disability in order to legally drive?
I taught myself to drive with a standard automatic vehicle. I think I could even drive a stick shift(manual transmission) if I tried. So up until now I never thought about this and my license has to be renewed next month! LOL

Hazel.....so far no loading of my premiums. So far no one has even asked. Like you, I keep the same company right on. Send the money.......get the proof cards. And the last time I re-uped my driver's license there was no paperwork either.......pay the money-take a picture-good to go for another five or so. Maybe if I were "officially" deemed disabled I might be required to disclose this to the insurance carrier.....I honestly don't know. If the last two years are a testimony, I've had no problems driving. Adapt and overcome......and have fun doing it :o)
