Lizz how long after your accdient did you have your intercostal op done? And how long did it take to work? What kind of tharapy was necery? I had mine done on 6/12/00. Nothing back yet. Paul

Hi everyone, its been a month since my surgery no responce yet. i have a question to people that have my injury which is a bad strech to the c5 and c6, I had the nerve grath, what are good home excerise to do. I going to therapy but only twice a week since thats all I can afford. when you include the excerise routine please also include how long and how many times a day.

I can't help with exercise but since this is such a long thread perhaps you would be better off posting this as a new post maybe some who don't read this thread to often will come to your aid...

Rob I hope you have a great recovery. Try as much at home as you can do. In talking with many pepole I am told it takes hours each day. Im looking for a new doctor for my next try at it and I built a room on the house with a pool. So I could be in it every day post op. I hope that works for me. I would like to hear more from other pepole how much work/efert it toke to get some thing working? Paul

I hope you remember to heat the pool... Muscles do much better in warmer water... Most pool therapy is done in water above 90 degrees... Swimming and just getting your arm to move in water is really good exercise and does not wear you out...
I think you are from Rockland... and the cold weather is beginning to hit us

Yes Kathleen I do go back and forth to Rockland but live in Orange county. So I do plane to have a heater and will take your advises and keep it over 90 thanks. Paul

OPS... Paul I thought you lived in Rockland... My son lives in Orange too....

Get colder there then here even though we are so close.... keep that water hot and enjoy the swim...

Well I go to see Dr. Grosmen this coming week in NY city. Thanks Rob. I have hi hopes. Im 31/2 post injury. but I don't stop looking, hoping. Paul
