Ha! Nothing like being called out, but I take all your advice seriously. It's just hard to battle those demons in my head saying well sure you can lift that it won't hurt.

Honestly right now I'm investigating my hand cyst some more. It started hurting again and I'm going back to the Dr. in July. So far so good...I didn't wait until it was bad before making an appt.

I'm worried that it might actually be Dupuytren's contracture, my Dad has it and it's hereditary, also it presents itself much like my cyst. So I'm hoping that's not what it is. But if anyone else has this let me know, I'm actually wondering if this could be connected to BPI's or not.

We'll see I'll let you know.

My claw may actually become a "claw" for real.

I still have problems taking my own advice to protect the so called "unaffected" arm. Mine has been burning and stinging for months now. When I told the doctor the response I got was a shaking of the head... ahhh gee...

So much for sound medical advice... I paid for...

Traci-
Good for you for finally getting the Message and doing something pro-active!! It's a really a pain in the a-- to re-train our older brain cells as Kath & I can attest to. I do have to sacrifice a lot to afford my cleaning lady but it is something I should have done years ago... so stop using that vacuum girls n-o-w!

lol who needs a cleaning lady when you can make the boyfriend do it ;) I am already learning to reassign tasks with so much going on in my left. If I want my career as an OT, I need to stop being super woman and let others help me. Otherwise I will have paid over 30,000 a year for no reason. So I am taking it easy now, I want to keep my good arm!

Hugs,
Amy

Honestly, I do not find it fun at all, I hate asking other people to do things. Then they dont get done when I want them done they get done when the other person gets around to it. UHG! But even so, I am dealing with it and letting others do things.
