My son was 15 1/2 months before he started to walk. He did ARMY crawl but mostly scooted on his butt. My son was also the youngest of 4 and everyone could pick him up and carry him and he loved that.....of course. When he had MOD QUAD at 14 1/2 months, only mom and dad could lift him, the splint was too heavy for the older brother and sisters to lift him so he decided to get up and walk.....almost like he knew how to the whole time but was just to lazy......GAYLE mom of BRandon 7 1/2 ROBPI

I was nearly 10 months old when I started to walk. Surprised the heck out of my mom. She tells me she was in the kitchen and all of a sudden she heard thump-thump-thump-thump, she turned around and there I was, pleased as punch!

I walked at just under a year. I never crawled--but I did roll all over the house--and I was pretty good at it!
