Liz,
Thinking of you guys and hope you have a great time. I know Courtney is on her way to you and she is really looking forward to meeting everyone.
Take some good photos we can use in Outreach, ok?
Nancy

Both girls, Amy and Courtney arrived here safely on tuesday morning...as I am typing this, they will be doing the Big Bus Tour around London! I expect they'll be exhausted when they get back!
Anyway, just bumping this up for the sake of anyone who is thinking of attending the meeting to update the list of the medical professionals who will be attending over the weekend; sorry this took so long to get together. I think some had been forced until the last minute to give me a definite yes or no because of work commitments, particularly Prof. Simon Kay Anyway, here is the list;
Jane Howarth (clinical psychologist)
Maggie Bellew (clinical psychologist)
Simon Kay (no title required!)
Sarah Taplin (AOPS project manager) all from 'Jimmies' will be over Friday evening.
Fiona Jones (Brachial Plexus practitioner),
Suzanna Barry (senior physiotherapist),
Kristina Everitt (senior physiotherapist) and
?? Helen Brown (senior physiotherapist) (she is back from her hols on that day so she is going to try and make it) once again all from 'Jimmies' will be there on Saturday, probably be from mid morning onwards.
Sarah Taplin will also be back on saturday.
Katherine Johnson, Occupational therapist
Sam Burch, also from the Occupational therapy dept. at Stanmore will be attending on friday and saturday.
I am also hoping Steve McKerral, Pain clinic nurse from Stanmore will be attending both days. Many people will know Steve from the cannabis clinical trials. Haven't had a definite time from him yet though.
We have all agreed that the way to go with this is to just have informal chats or small groups to talk to the professionals rather then set up any presentations or lectures...Yeti however has NOT been allowed to get away with this... ;0) ;0)and will be presenting two talks about his experiences with the Input pain management course...personally, I am really looking forward to this...I know he has put in much hard work and I am very grateful to him.
Now all we need is the right weather....!! Wish us all luck...it is the first time we have ever invited the members of the professions before! If it all works out well, we intend to do it every year, and see more of you there.
I'll let you know how it goes. :0)
