I worked with them and we were not happy with how they handled our case. I would not recommend them.

We are currently working with Mike, and he is great. We are very close to settlement. The case is still in the works, but at this point I would recommend him. He is very supportive and we feel very comfortable with him representing our child.

Hi. We used this firm for our case and we were pleased with the attorneys and the outcome. Feel free to email me with any additional questions.

We worked with Pam for several months and she was very positive, but then she dropped our case after talking to attorneys in our local area. Apparently they discouraged her and she didn't want to risk "losing a case" because it would damage her record. I would not recommend her.

We used Dan and Mike and they were great. They knew what questions to ask and we settled out of court.

We got the ding letter from their firm too. We tried to go to a couple other lawyers but they asked if we had contacted anyone else. We were honest and told them we had been turned away and got shot down again right away. After the 5th firm we gave up.

There are many legal reasons why bpi attorneys accept some cases and not others, just as there are many medical reasons why bpi doctors recommend surgery for some patients and not for others. I'm happy to answer any questions as to how the legal decision is made. However, I and the other lawyers in my firm do not consider how a particular case will affect our "record" in deciding whether or not to accept it.

annon,
sorry to hear you gave up after 5. I know it is exhausting at times and discouraging but I know of several parents who finally found one at #7 or #10, so I hope people don't give up prematurely.

do not be discouraged if a law firmm turns down your case. Also, not every lawyer cares that you have seen other lawyers and had your case refused. Every lawyer looks at cases differently. I certainley have accepted cases that other lawyers did not want and won them. I have also rejected cases that other lawyers refused because I also did not think there was a case.
If you beleive you have a case do not give up. If you have to approach several lawyers then do it. I assure you that having been rejected, even from a firm that has a reputation, makes no difference to me and my firm, and I'm certainn will not matter to many other firms.
An analogy that I have used in the past is that looking for a lawyer is like shopping for clothes. You may need to try several stores and try on many clothes before you find the right things that fits you. If you believe you have a case, keep looking for the right fit in a lawyer and firm.
