Hi Linda,
Bradley suffered a right obpi at birth. He had a ruptured c5,c6, and c7. He had the Primary nerve graft, Mod Quad, and the Acromio all done at Texas Childrens Hosp. He is 2 years old.
I've been thinking more about the segment and what needs to be said. What is the main message? I'm going to focus on the lack of information from the hospital staff to the parent and what steps the parent needs to take next.
Please, if anyone wants to share ideas of the message they want to be heard, please share. I know this is only going to be a short segment so time is crucial. What do you feel is YOUR main message if you could shout it out to the world?

Allison, why don't you get in touch with the Doctor who operated on your daughter and ask what info is good to give to the news to make people more aware of this problem. Just a thought.

Hey Allison, We also had a segment done on our local news medical Monday. Nicholas' OT and my husband and I did it. We focused on awareness and gave some facts and emphasized early DX and evaluation by a BPI specialist. We gave some stats from Dr. Nath etc. The local paper also did a piece and they actually contacted Dr. Nath and had some great quotes from him. It was last Oct. so not real fresh in my mind right now. Good Luck. Stacey
