Hi Courtney,
It'd be great to see you at the next UK TBPI meeting. The photo on page 4 of Outreach shows a small number of the UK BPIers. The rest must have been in the pub getting the beers in ! 2 of the three initial driving forces behind setting up www.tbpi-group.org are there in the photo: Marc and Lizzie (both in black Ts). And me ! Blimey, a photo of me that looks half decent... whatever next !?

Courtney, I was looking to go to the UK also this past August, however, as you know I had that bloody cast on my good wrist, and the cost of flight was $1400 cad. I'm glad I didn't go as the weather was up in the 30's, or 90's F so I would have died anyway. Can't take the heat. And what's this about writing an article for outreach? Whose "We" paleface???ha ha

HEY you guys would be VERY welcome over here at our next gathering/party in August! I'm hoping to make it an annual thing if I can still get the support...there are no fees; even the camping was free courtesy of Harry the guy who owns Squires, or the hotels nearby are very reasonable rates. (I might be able to do a cheaper, block booking)Yeah it was HOT this year, but very pleasant under the trees and contrary to popular belief, the beer WAS cold!! lol

I'm hoping to have the next gathering a bit more 'structured' and tie it in with a kind of AGM and conference with invited guests from the medical professions, possibly in a lecture room in Leeds St James' Hospital, but I'll post more about that as and when I get the info. Mostly, it will be a weekend of serious socialising!!!

Please keep me informed about the TBPI gettogether in the UK as I would LOVER to get there for it and especially to meet the people who have kept my spirits high the past year! Been to Canada and Mexico but in the US thats nothing! I want a passport! hahaha In August then huh? YEAH! I will try and bring a few TBPI from here if we can save our cash!

Allison- Nancy asked me about writing an article for the next Outreach, something that you and I put together! Maybe she hasnt gotten to you! What do you think!?
