I still am able to play my favorite pc games, which are primarily strategy war games.

I can play Civilization 3, Rise of Nations, Medieval: Total War, and even the new game Rome: Total War. You only really need 1 hand and that is for the mouse. If combat gets too intense, you can pause the game and reorganize.

I finally have the pictures back from my sister of my hand position and playing the Xbox. The pics aren’t that great but I think with the instructions I have posted you should be able to use them together and get a good idea. (The instructions are on the original message I posted). So I will email everyone who wanted the pictures and if anyone else wants them feel free to ask.

i'm (almost) 43, going on 15 *grin* so i understood that part.

how on earth did you manage the PS2 LotR games one handed???? i really tried but just couldn't seem to do it

I, as well as many of my friends have an X Box. One of the guys has the one-handed obstacle. He was over, and we played Links, and know he wants to buy an X Box. It would be awesome if Microsoft had one of those Sidewinder Force Feedback sticks that could be hooked into the X Box, as you could probably remap 90% of the X Box controller functions to that stick. But anyhow... I know that there were a few things he couldnt do on the game, like put spin on the ball as you'd need to use both thumbsticks simultaneously.

Does anyone have an idea of games that would work particulary well (or wouldnt work well at all) for someone with this obstacle?

Does anyone know of any customized controllers that allow for all X Box functions using one hand?

I don't know if this helps anyone, but I did see that some company has produced an adapater that allows you to use a PS2 keyboard and mouse with an XBox or Playstation:

I had no idea what brachial plexus was. My forementioned friend lost his arm completely. The obstacle is the same, just different presentation.

He still tied me, even if I was putting spin on the ball before I realized he couldnt, and it was the first time he played. Or so he says.

Ive tried them all and xbox works da best i beat all my friends in halo and a bunch of games but dont use the old fat controller use the newer little one use can use your whole hand on it if any one wants to email me they can pbking81090@yahoo.com
