I'm Sally, mom to Robert (7 - preemie with some issues), William (4 - food allergies) and Michael (2.5 -ROBPI), and wife of 12 years to Mike.
Michael had Mod Quad surgery at TCH at 13 months old. We are in the process of scheduling his caps and acromoiplasty surgery (it was scheduled for Oct 29, but we postponed it after the PA picnic at Dr. Nath's suggestion. It will most likely be in Jan or Feb)
We live in Maryland. I am a Documentation Manager (my boss was fabulous when I told him about Michael's injury. I actually quit since I was going to be unable to work "regular" hours and take Michael to therapy, etc. and my boss asked if I would be interested in working full time from home - with the uinderstanding that I could work my schedule around Michael. My answer - a resounding YES!) and Mike is a basketball coach/high school teacher.

Sally,
I think it's great that employers are doing that. I was going to quit in May but they talked me into working two days in the office and the rest at home.

Hello! My name is Kimberly Stallcup, and I am married to David, and we have three daughters, Brooke 17, Brittany 6 (RBPI), and Brianna 18 mos. We live in San Antonio, TX. Brittany has had six surgeries, all at TCH. She is scheduled for #7 on Oct. 29th.. Dr. Nath will be doing the acromioplasty and re-doing the capsuledesis. We are hoping this will keep us from having to do the osteotomy. We are working to get to the gracilieus (sp?)muscle transfer to get some hand function.
