Oh Krista, first your husband gets injured at work and now this with your mom. I'm sure you're feeling pretty stressed out. Mackenzie and I will be praying for you all!

Krista,
I will definitely keep your Mom in my thoughts. Hopefully it will end up being nothing serious. My Mom had breast cancer over 10 years ago and I remember how scary it was. Fortunately my Mom was dilligent about get her mammograms because the spot appeared after the mammogram she did the prior year. They caught it early but she still needed to go through radiation and chemo. I just wanted to give you some reasurance that people do survive it. Keep us posted.

Dear Krista,
The best advice I can give you is don't worry until the Dr.'s tell you to. There have been so many nights I lost sleep thinking and worrying. The worst thing you and your mom can do is fill in the blanks with your imagination...Right now it's just a lump and that is all. Take comfort in knowing your mom is taking the right steps, but until the time comes try not to worry and go about things as normal. Belive me, I know what it's like to have the life pulled out from under you. My son had leukemia, my mom had breast cancer and my brother is also a cancer survivor. I know it's hard not to worry and only a person who has lived it can honestly tell you that, No it's not east to say...but if there is one thing I have learned it's don't worry until they tell you to. Good luck and get some sleep.
